As Anime Expo 2024 took place July 4, 2024 – July 7, 2024, HIDIVE arrived with exciting reveals for anime fans who attended and those who were at home. HIDIVE announced that Ninja Scroll will receive a theatrical release across 500 theaters. HIDIVE also revealed the 5th season of Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? alongside a preview of Oshi no Koi season 2 episode 1 and 2. Although these were some of the standouts of the event, HIDIVE had a plethora of titles for fans to enjoy.

For those who participated in the event in person, HIDIVE collaborated with Sentai Filmworks, Cygames, and Akiba Pop-up and Live to bring a maid cafe pop-up based on the anime, Akiba Maid War. Anime Expo 2024 was full of announcements beyond those made by HIDIVE. Bandai Namco Entertainment unveiled a new Bleach game dubbed Bleach: Rebirth of Souls in tandem with Viz Media’s sneak peak of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War part 3. Crunchyroll also announced new anime and simulcasts for fans to anticipate such as Blue Lock Season 2 and Omniscient Reader.
