Genki Ono’s Hima-Ten is the latest new manga to show up in Shonen Jump. Its run started its run on July 7, 2024, and people can also read it in English on Viz Media and MangaPlus.
Hima-Ten features a premise that is sort of similar to the shojo series Tamon’s B-Side, in that an ordinary student who works cleaning houses suddenly ends up being a major part of a famous person’s daily life due to working for them. In the case of this series, Tenichi Iemori has a part-time job cleaning houses, and Himari Yoshino is a model and president of a cosmetics company known as Hima Riz. As the class representative, Ten ends up helping her on her first day as she transfers to their school, then learns his new client for cleaning is her and she isn’t what she seems.
There have been quite a few new manga series that debuted in Shonen Jump worldwide over the last few weeks. The latest run of new series really started to kick off in April 2024 with Astro Royale. Others like Kyokuto Necromance, Psych House, Yokai Buster Murakami, Shiba Inu Rooms, and Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshiare among them.
The next new chapter of the manga Hima-Ten will appear in Shonen Jump and online on July 14, 2024.
