In her tweet, she started off with assuring everyone that she’s still alive. However, her COVID-19 is not improving and is getting worse. After discussing it with her doctors, she decided to stay in the hospital until early July 2024. She apologized that she won’t be able to do anything like streaming in the meantime, but she’ll do her best to get better and hopes that everyone will wait for her.
News of the Nijisanji Vtuber Ange Katrina COVID-19 diagnosis came out on June 11, 2024. She stated that she was in the hospital for a newer strain of the virus. As a result, Anycolor had to delay the Sanbaka 5th anniversary concert. Sanbaka is the trio that Ange debuted with, and the other members in the group are Inui Toko and Lize Helesta. The Sanbaka concert will take place on December 6, 2024 instead. Though Anycolor had announced that Ange would be in the hospital earlier this month, it did not mention how long she would be hospitalized for.
Ange Katrina debuted with Nijisanji in 2019. As of the time of writing, she has over 850k subscribers on her YouTube channel. Her last streams were two weeks ago, when she streamed Blue Archive and Tales of the Abyss.
Ange Katrina will remain in the hospital until early July 2024 as a result of contracting a new strain of the COVID-19 virus.
