How to Redeem Valorant Beta Codes on Consoles

After a long wait Valorant makes its way to consoles in the form of a beta on June 14, 2024. This limited beta is for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. This guide will answer the question of how to redeem Valorant beta code for either console.

How to get a Valorant beta code

The Valorant Limited Beta is invite-only at the moment. To get a beta code, you must register on the Riot Games website with your Riot Account. If you do not have a Riot Account, the website will prompt you to sign up for one. Once you’ve created your account, all you have to do is wait for an email from Riot Games for an invitation.

If you were lucky enough to get an invitation, Riot also gives a referral link for up to 5 people. If you received a referral link from a friend, they must click the link provided to them. You also have to register in order to participate in the beta.

Whether you’ve received a code from Riot Games or from a friend, you have to redeem on Xbox or PlayStation. Below we will break down how to redeem a beta code on both consoles.

How to redeem Valorant Beta on Xbox Series X|S

On Xbox, you will receive a 25 character code to redeem. You must go to the official Xbox website or the Microsoft Store to redeem. Enter the 25 character code and press confirm. The Valorant Console Beta will automatically begin to download.

How to redeem Valorant Beta on PlayStation 5

The process to redeem on PlayStation 5 is similar to Xbox Series X|S. Once you’ve received the link from Riot or via referral link, you will get a 12-digit code to use on the PlayStation official website or the PlayStation Store. Enter the 12 numbers and confirm your code. If you have automatic download enabled, the beta will start to install.

If you didn’t get a code before June 14, 2024, Riot Games has stated that they will continue to hand out codes throughout the Limited Beta. There is no termination date for the beta as of now, but the start time is 1 PM PST.
