Season 2 of the Delicious in Dungeon Season 2 Anime Is in the Works

Season 2 of the Delicious in Dungeon anime is now in production. After the conclusion of the first season’s 24-episode run on Netflix, the new season was confirmed to be in the works.

The announcement of the Studio Trigger-developed show came via X (formerly known as Twitter). It included a teaser trailer, showing off some of the famous moments and delicious dining from the first season, as well as a stinger of the mage Sissel surrounded by dragons. The official account also showed off a new poster celebrating the announcement after the final episode of the current season was released on Netflix. There is currently no release date for the new season.

Meanwhile, various companies announced numerous pieces of merchandise to tie-in with the anime’s release. A craft cola beverage inspired by the mandrake monster was announced in April 2024. A set of cooking utensils like the ones Senshi uses to make the delicious meals is also available to purchase.

The Delicious in Dungeon season 1 run is done and all episodes are currently streaming on Netflix, while season 2 is in the works. The manga is licensed for publication in the US by Yen Press.
