Expert Mode takes the familiar LEGO Fortnite experience and dials up the intensity. The mode adds tougher enemies and harsher survival conditions. Additionally, even regular enemies are tougher in Expert Mode. Therefore, It’s a mode meant for those who crave a serious challenge.

Lego Fortnite Expert Mode Features

One of the standout features of Expert Mode is the introduction of Storm-Wild enemies. These creatures, infected by a mysterious storm, are more formidable than their regular counterparts. They deal more damage, have more health, and move faster. From Storm-Wild Blasters to Storm-Wild Sand Scorpions, these enemies will keep you on your toes and force you to strategize for survival.

Additionally, Expert Mode introduces permadeath. In my mind the Cadillac of video game difficulty. If a player loses all hearts, it means permanent elimination from that world. However, you can use a Totem of Return to revive at your bed with your backpack, sacrificing the totem in the process.

If you don’t have a Totem of Return, you can still play in non-expert worlds or create a new one. Unfortunately, the old one remains lost unless another player in the world can revive it. However, surviving in your Expert world can net you in-game trophies for your trouble.

Lego Fortnite Expert Mode is perfect for players seeking an intense survival experience with added difficulty and unique mechanics. If you’re up for the challenge, dive in and test your skills in this unforgiving mode.

Lego Fortnite is available right now for Android devices, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
