How to start Salvation’s Edge raid in Destiny 2 Final Shape

To access the new Destiny 2 Salvation’s Edge raid, you will need to have completed the main campaign of The Final Shape first. This makes sense, seeing Salvation’s Edge is basically meant to be one of the expansion’s “final boss fights” or levels that conclude the main story. However, unlocking the raid is a bit trickier than just completing the campaign.

Below are the steps you need to complete to start the Salvation’s Edge Raid in Destiny 2 Final Shape:

  • Complete the Destiny 2 Final Shape campaign.
  • Start and complete the Wild Card Exotic Quest (Unlocks the Still Hunt Exotic Sniper Rifle)
    • The Exotic Quest is a post-game quest you obtain after beating The Final Shape campaign.
  • Your character must reach at least Power Level 1965.
  • Load up the Pale Heart map and click on the “Salvation’s Edge Raid” marker to start it.

The toughest challenge in unlocking the Destiny 2 Salvation’s Edge raid is beating The Final Shape campaign and then reaching Power Level 1965. Thankfully, you should get enough armor and weapons through the main story that reaching this level should be doable on a first try. You will just need to set aside enough time to run through the campaign.

Once you have completed the Wild Card Exotic quest and beat The Final Shape campaign, you can then find the Salvation’s Edge raid on the Pale Heart map. Just use your cursor and scroll all the way to the right side of the open-world map to find it.
