Kingdom Hearts Series Coming to Steam on June 2024

Square Enix announced that the Kingdom Hearts series is coming to PC via Steam on June 13, 2024. The series already appeared on PC via the Epic Games Store back in March 30, 2021, with a temporary exclusivity arrangement that is now about to expire.

First, these are the Kingdom Hearts games coming to Steam on June 13, 2024:

  • Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX
  • Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
  • Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind DLC

Meanwhile, the Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece bundle that includes all the titles listed above. Additionally, by purchasing Kingdom Hearts 3 or the Integrum Masterpiece bundle, players will receive the platform-exclusive Dead of Night Steam-themed keyblade in the third game.

The first title features four games in the KH series, as well as two of the portable games available as HD remastered cinematics that retell the events of the games. The four playable games are Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix. Meanwhile, the HD cinematic titles are Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded.

As for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, the game includes Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, the Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage- short story, as well as the Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover movie.

However, there is no mention of the rhythm spin-off title Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory as being one of the games appearing on Steam. At the time of writing, the PC version of Melody of Memory remains exclusive to the Epic Games Store.

Three Kingdom Hearts games will arrive to PC via Steam on June 13, 2024 after the exclusivity arrangement with the Epic Games Store ended. The games are also available for the PS4, Xbox One, PC via Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch via cloud streaming.
