Epic Games is giving out the new Overclock Combo Pack in Fortnite for free. However, console players will need to jump through some hoops to redeem it on PS5 and Xbox. Here is how to get the Fortnite Overlocked Combo Pack for free on console.
How to Redeem Fortnite Overclocked Combo Pack on Console
Unfortunately, the Overclocked Combo Pack is not available on PS5 or Xbox and can only be redeemed on the Epic Games Store. However, console users can still get their hands on the sweet cape by accessing the storefront on PC or mobile.
Below are the steps to unlock the Fortnite Overclocked Combo Pack:
- Step 1: Sign in to the Epic Games Store Website and select the console you are on from the options below. You will then be asked to log into your account through PSN or Xbox.
- Step 2: Now that you are signed in, click the Overclocked Combo Pack website and then click the yellow “Get” button on the right hand of the screen.
- Step 3: You will then need to check out with the Combo Pack in your cart and click the blue “Place Order” button. Don’t worry this is 100% free.
- Step 4: After Epic Games has confirmed the Overclocked Combo Pack has been added to your Library, boot up your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X console.
- Step 5: The Overclocked Combo Pack should now appear in your Fortnite game. Click “redeem,” and they will now be permanently added to your Locker.
The first step may be the trickiest for console players if you haven’t linked your console to the Epic Games Store. However, you can visit the website on mobile or PC and then sign in to your PSN or Xbox account when logging in. Once here, you just click the “Get” button under the Overclocked Combo Pack page.
However, make sure you finish the final step by checking out with the free skin in your basket. You should see a blue “Place Order” button. Again, this will cost you nothing as it is free. Just make sure you purchase the combo pack to add it to your console account. If you don’t check out at the Epic Games Store, it won’t show up when you boot up your game on the console.
The final step is easy. Just boot up Fortnite on PlayStation 5 or Xbox, and you will automatically get a pop-up screen on the main menu. Make sure to click “redeem” to add the Overclocked Combo Pack items to your locker.
