Hades 2 is finally here, following up on the award-winning original roguelike from Supergiant Games. So, it is understandable if players want to know the Hades 2 console release date for systems like PS5.

Hades 2 Console Release Date Explained

Unfortunately, we don’t have the happiest news regarding the release date for platforms other than PC. Sadly, Supergiant Games has yet to give an actual release date at this time. In fact, all the developers of Hades 2 have to say about other platforms at this time is that the team expects the game to come to other platforms and consoles.

There is no news about a release window at this time. However, it is likely we won’t see the game come to consoles like PS5 any earlier than the end of 2024. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if the console release date ends up being in 2025. After all, Supergiant hasn’t even announced which consoles it will come to, including PS5.

Will Hades 2 Have Early Access to the Console?

The main reason we don’t have a release window for Hades 2 on other platforms like PS5 comes from the early access format. Similar to the original roguelike, it is going to be in early access for a time. When the 1.0 release comes out, it will be available to other systems.

For better or worse, it doesn’t appear the game will ever appear on other platforms in this state. At least while it is in early access. As for which platforms they may be, that is also up in the air. There is a possibility it will come to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, for instance, and perhaps Nintendo Switch or its successor as well. For now, though, the game will be in early access exclusively on PC through at least the end of 2024.

Hades 2 is available right now for PC. It will also be released for consoles in the future.
