How to Evolve Short Gun to Prototype B in Vampire Survivors

Once you unlock Lance Bean in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns, you’ll also unlock the Short Gun and the opportunity to evolve it to Prototype B. However, like many other weapons in this add-on, it requires you to grab two passive items to reach that evolution.

How do I evolve the Short Gun to Prototype B in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns?

The easiest way to do this is to unlock Lance, which you get by unlocking Bill Rizer and getting the Long Gun weapon tied to him evolved to Prototype A. Doing that makes his ally available as a playable character. You can unlock the Short Gun as a weapon for all by surviving as Lance for 15 minutes.

To get the Prototype B weapon fast, pick Lance and head to Neo Galuga. Immediately grab the grey Weapon Power-Up suitcase directly south of your starting point. Then, head to the southwest corner of the map to pick up the brown satchel that lets you select one passive item. Use that to get the Bracer. From there, all you need to do is max out the Short Gun’s level, then face bosses until chests drop. Eventually, the Short Gun will evolve to Prototype B in Vampire Survivors as a result.

As a reward for getting Prototype B, you unlock a new character. Ariana will appear in Character Selection. You can then get her for 530 gold.

Vampire Survivors and the Operation Guns DLC are available on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices.
