How to Recruit Pieter for a Farm in Eiyuden Chronicle

There are a number of material-providing facilities you can get for your Eiyuden Chronicle castle town, and you need to recruit Pieter if you want a farm at your base. He’s really ready to join when you find him, fortunately!

How do I recruit Pieter so I can have a farm in Eiyuden Chronicle?

I ended up recruiting Pieter in Eiyuden Chronicle after I finished the Proving Ground dungeon and was starting to explore Euchrisse. Once I unlocked the fast travel feature with Carrie, I returned to Werne Village to see if I’d missed anyone. Pieter was all the way in the northwest corner of the map by the farms.

You can find him here on the map:

Pieter may be available earlier, however! I didn’t do as much backtracking after a while, because I was pushing to unlock access to Carrie before exploring more.

All you need to do to recruit Pieter is talk to him. He’ll immediately agree and be willing to join the Alliance.

Is Pieter good in Eiyuden Chronicle?

Pieter is there just to get access to the farm. When you recruit him, he flat out says he isn’t interested in fighting. He wants to help people. So you won’t get him as a support character for your party.

The farm is very easy to build in Eiyuden Chronicle, once you get Pieter moved into your base. All you need is him and 1,600 Headquarters Funds. You’ll then get an easy source of food and an additional 40 people for your castle town’s population.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is available on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
