Sometimes in order to recruit a person in Eiyuden Chronicle, you need to bring someone else to see them, and that’s the case with Hakugin. The East Reach warrior won’t join unless you bring her friend/rival to see her.
How do I recruit Hakugin in Eiyuden Chronicle?
Hakugin is honestly incredibly easy to recruit in Eiyuden Chronicle. You’ll find her in the south east of Daphan Village, once you get to the Euchrisse region. When you meet her, she mentions she wants to reunite with someone else who is also from the East Reach, but left to join a militia. She won’t talk about joining unless that person shows up.
You can find her right here:
She’s talking about Mio, one of the first allies Nowa met when he joined the watch. If you don’t have her with you, go add her to your party. Come back and talk to her. She’ll immediately join after Mio gets involved.
Is Hakugin good in Eiyuden Chronicle?
Hakugin will likely be about 10 levels beyond the rest of the people in your party by the time you recruit her in Eiyuden Chronicle. However, she’s honestly a pretty good character!
Hakugin has a medium range weapon, so she can go in the front or back row. She’s also really physically strong, fast, and dexterous. She comes with the Sidewinder Active Skill that damages and possibly poisons an enemy for 2SP. She also has a speed Rune-Lens equipped to make her faster. If you have both her and Mio in a party together, it can be pretty fun!
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is available on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
