Atlus released a new short trailer for SMT V: Vengeance showcasing some of the new demons that will appear in the game. Additionally, a new Demon Backyard system was detailed.
SMT V: Vengeance will include over 270 demons, compared to the 221 present in the original SMT V, which rose up to 234 demons when counting those added in the DLC. Some of the new elements shown in the trailer include new demons Nahobiho, the Frost version of the Nahobino protagonist, and Cherub performing a new Light-element skill, as well as returning demons Nekomata, Cait Sith, and Neko Shogun performing a new Magatsuhi Skill together, Moh Shuvuu, Pellaidh, and former DLC demons Matador, Mephisto, and Artemis.

The new Demon Backyard mechanic can be accessed from Leyline Founts throughout the game, and it allows players to interact with the demons in their roster, as well as use the free camera function to take photos of them.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will come out for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on June 14, 2024.
