Nijisanji Vtuber Kotoka Torahime is the latest to announce she’ll be taking some time away from streaming. The performer announced on social media on February 17, 2024, that she’ll be appearing online less for health reasons.
Here’s Kotoka’s announcement. She did note that she’ll only appear online infrequently during the healing process. However, she said that songs will still appear on her official YouTube channel
Kotoka Torahime has been a Nijisanji Vtuber since December 2022. She’s a part of XSOLIEL alongside Doppio Dropscythe, Hex Haywire, Meloco Kyoran, and Ver Vermillion. She’s known for her covers, with one of her most recent major performances being alongside XSOLIEL for “Cinema.” She also sang on the original Nijisanji x Azur Lane track “Tempesta’s Claim” with Meloco Kyoran and Petra Gurin. Her last solo cover was “Show.” Her last stream before this announcement was a handcam chocolate fountain on February 12, 2024.
As a reminder, Kotoka Torahime was one of only three Nijisanji Vtubers who didn’t share recent Selen Tatsuki announcements from Nijisanji proper and Elira Pendora, Vox Akuma, and Ike Eveland.
It seems the covers she’ll be releasing will be found under her YouTube shorts sections. The most recent one is a brief take from her on “Kinmokusei” by Kujira.
