Weapons are integral, as they can increase your total Character Power and even provide passives through your Masteries that can enhance your total HP pool, attack, and stun chance. You can obtain weapons while progressing through the main scenario by opening specific chests on these individual maps (you can go back and obtain these in the post-game) or craft them.

Upon progressing through the main story and reaching Chapter 5, you will be able to access the Blacksmith in Folca, which will allow you to forge weapons. However, you will need certain materials to forge these weapons. It will vary between characters, with the exception of needing Champion Marks.

You can get your hands on some of these materials fairly easily through the Quest Counter to grind out what you need. Keep in mind that the game will gate you from specific quests based on your progression in the main scenario and post-game. So, if you cannot get materials, you may need to progress the story.

You can also exchange materials by talking to Seiro. This is an easy way to immediately get your hands on what you want. But as a rule of thumb, it’s better to grind the materials through the Quest Counter. Especially as your characters get strong, you can clear missions with ease or pop online and have a friend or random player assist you.
