If you’re a high enough level, you can use Legendary Schematics to craft the game’s best weapons, armor, and outfits. Here’s where to find Legendary Schematics in Palworld.
All weapon Legendary Schematic Locations in Palworld
There are six weapon Legendary Schematics in Palworld that I’ve found so far. These are:
- Legendary Handgun.
- Legendary Crossbow.
- Legendary Old Bow.
- Legendary Assault Rifle.
- Legendary Pump-Action Shotgun.
- Legendary Rocket Launcher.
You can get the first Legendary Schematic, the Legendary Old Bow, at level 23, so you don’t need to wait until the endgame to get your hands on the game’s best weapons.
Every Legendary Schematic is a rare drop in Palworld, so don’t expect to get them easily – it will likely take a lot of grinding to obtain just one!
Old Bow Legendary Schematic location
The Old Bow Legendary Schematic is dropped by the Kingpaca Alpha Pal, located just northwest of Small Settlement. Kingpaca is level 23, so taking it down or catching it won’t be too difficult, especially if you bring a Dark-type Pal such as Daedream or Depresso.
Crossbow Legendary Schematic location
The Crossbow Legendary Schematic is dropped by Bushi, an Alpha Pal found in the Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster, northwest of the Sea Breeze Archipelago Church fast travel point. Bushi is level 23 and a Fire-type, so bring Water-type Pals like Penking or Celaray.
Handgun Legendary Schematic location
The level 29 Alpha Pal, Beakon, drops the Handgun Legendary Schematic. You’ll find Beakon southwest of the Deep Bamboo Thicket fast travel point. The bird is an Electric-type, so Ground-type Pals will serve you well here. I recommend using Dumud or Robinquill Terra.
Pump-Action Shotgun Legendary Schematic location
The Shotgun Legendary Schematic is dropped by a level 45 Suzaku Alpha Pal northeast of the Sand Dunes Entrance fast travel point and southeast of Duneshelter. You’ll want to bring Water-type Pals and heat-resistant armor for this fight, as Suzaku is a Fire-type. Penking and Surfent work well here.
Assault Rifle Legendary Schematic location
The level 49 Alpha Pal, Blazamut, drops the Assault Rifle Legendary Schematic. Blazamut is in the Scorching Mineshaft, just southeast of the Eternal Pyre Tower Entrance and southwest of the Foot of the Volcano fast travel point on Obsidian Mountain. Blazamut is a Fire-type Pal and is incredibly strong – you’ll need heat-resistant armor and Water-type Pals such as Jormuntide and Suzaku Aqua to bring it down.
Rocket Launcher Legendary Schematic location
The Rocket Launcher Legendary Schematic is dropped by the Legendary Alpha Pal, Jetragon, located north of the Beach of Everlasting Summer fast travel point on Obsidian Mountain. Jetragon is arguably the hardest fight in the game at level 50, so you’ll definitely want to be level 50 before taking it on. I also recommend bringing the Legendary Assault Rifle that Blazamut drops along and some Ice-type Pals, such as Frostallion or Ice Kingpaca, to counter its Dragon typing.
All armor Legendary Schematic Locations in Palworld
I have found five armor Legendary Schematics in Palworld so far. These are:
- Legendary Metal Helm.
- Legendary Pal Metal Helm.
- Legendary Tropical Outfit.
- Legendary Pal Metal Cold Resistant Armor.
- Legendary Pal Metal Heat Resistant Armor.
Metal Helm Legendary Schematic location
The Metal Helm Legendary Schematic is dropped by the Warsect Alpha Pal, a level 30 Grass/Ground-type. It is located just south of the Goblin’s Turf fast travel point in the Sealed Realm of the Stalwart dungeon. Because of its dual-typing, Warsect is weak to Fire-type moves, so bring Pals like Arsox and Bushi along.
Pal Metal Helm Legendary Schematic location
Frostallion, a Legendary level 50 Alpha Pal, drops the Pal Metal Helm Legendary Schematic in Palworld. You’ll find Frostallion west of the Land of Absolute Zero fast travel point. It’s an Ice-type, so counter it with Fire-type Pals – I recommend Blazamut or Jormuntide Ignis here because it will be a tough fight.
Cold and Heat Resistant Pal Metal Armor Legendary Schematic location
The Cold Resistant Pal Metal Armor Legendary Schematic and Heat Resistant Pal Metal Armor Legendary Schematic drop very close to each other at the same location on the Palworld map. Northwest of the Deep Sand Dunes fast travel point, you’ll find two level 50 Legendary Alpha Pals walking alongside each other: Paladius and Necromus. Paladius is a Neutral-type Pal, while Necromus is a Dark-type, so make sure you bring a mix of Dark and Dragon-type Pals to counter them. I recommend Fenglope and Kingpaca for Paladius and Jormuntide and Orzerk for Necromus.
Tropical Outfit Legendary Schematic location
Unlike the other Legendary Schematics in Palworld, I found the Tropical Outfit in a purple chest, which needed a Silver Key to unlock. Chests and their contents are random, so I can’t give you an exact location. Just make sure you’re searching every purple chest you see! If you need more Silver Keys, they drop from Leezpunk, a Dark-type Pal located in the southern section of Mount Obsidian.
Each outfit and hat in Palworld has its own Legendary Schematic, so it’s highly likely that the Tropical Outfit isn’t the only Legendary Schematic that you can find in chests. I would also assume that they have a higher chance of dropping from gold chests.
How to craft Legendary Schematics in Palworld
Once you have a Legendary Schematic in hand in Palworld, you won’t be able to craft it at any Weapon Bench or Crafting Bench; each Legendary Schematic has a required Bench that you’ll need to make it at.
