Party setup for Sleeping Table in Persona 3 Portable

Sleeping Table snoozes on the Tziah block of Tartarus on Floor 135 and is no joke, let’s get that straight. It hits hard and has multiple ways to wipe your party. Leveling up sufficiently before going for the boss is a good idea. Additionally, there are plenty of ways to prepare for the battle ahead.

Ken and Junpei are pretty crucial for this battle. Not because they’re particularly useful in the fight but because they resist light. This means they won’t go down to Sleeping Table’s Hamaoan. On that note, you should find some personas that offer light resistance yourself.

Aside from the insta-kills, Sleeping Table has the very dangerous Megidola. This will hurt, so buff your defenses and ensure you have a good healer like Yukari. Ken should have some healing prowess by this point, too, so that’ll help. You should carry a healing Persona as well; trust me, you’ll need a lot of healing.

But far and away the most devastating attack in Sleeping Table’s playbook is the combo of Evil Touch and Ghastly Wail. The former has a high chance of inflicting fear on your party. The latter will kill anyone inflicted with fear. Anytime, and I mean anytime, you’ve got a character inflicted with fear you need to heal it immediately.

Yukari has Me Patra to do this, and you can get several Personas with Me Patra. If you can manage to keep the healing magic flowing, you can eventually bring Sleeping Table down. Especially if you manage to snag a few critical hits, as All-Out Attacks are particularly powerful against it. Either way, beating Sleeping Table in Persona 3 Portable is one heck of a slog.
