Early in the act Seattle Day 1, you get a semi-open world version of the city to explore along with a map. During this section, check out the building next to the highway on the bottom left (see picture above). There, you should find an abandoned bank. However, some infected are still around so be prepared!

Clear out the enemies, then take a look around. Towards the back of the bank, you’ll find the vault, but you’ll need the code. Search the area across from the vault, and you should eventually come across a note. Now we have our context for what happened in the abandoned location: a group planned to rob this bank on the day of the outbreak!

Since these robbers were thorough enough to write things down, they even kindly gave us the code to the vault right there in the note itself! The Last of Us Part II Remastered Seattle bank vault code is 602306. Now, you know what to do next. Let’s open it up and get our loot!

Once inside, you’ll find the vault is filled with money! Sadly, as Ellie points out, that’s not very useful to them. Instead, let’s find some things that are useful. Immediately in front of you is the shotgun. You’ll absolutely want to grab that for some future encounters.

Finally, to obtain Nathan Drake’s ring search the back-right corner of the vault. There’s a safety deposit box there Ellie can inspect and inside is Nathan Drake’s Ring. You can even inspect it and read the engraving! Finding Nathan Drake’s ring in The Last of Us Part II Remastered also unlocks the trophy, So Great and Small.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered is available exclusively on PS5.
