By Grasshopper Manufacture is about to re-release Flower, Sun and Rain on the Nintendo DS on March 6th and it’s time to start pushing the title. Marvelous’ strategy is a little unorthodox for the times, live action video instead of flashing a bunch of cutscenes. Back in the good old Super Famicom days having actors play Dragon Quest characters was common, now not so much.
Speaking of Flower, Sun and Rain DS there is still one new feature that hasn’t been revealed yet. I’ve been wondering if the final bonus will be a full English translation. Grasshopper Manufacture does ship games in Japan with English voice acting and a few re-released games like the Phoenix Wright series got them. I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up too much since none of this is confirmed. Think of this comment as a hopeful thought for importers.
