April Fools’ Day gets bigger each year in Japan, and one of the highlights from this year’s shenanigans was Sega’s free game, 8-Bit Bayonetta, which released on Steam that also has a mysterious countdown to go with it.

As for 8-Bit Bayonetta, it’s a free mini-game that lets you jump and shoot down incoming enemies. While the game itself doesn’t have much going for it, fans have discovered a secret countdown that you can check out here that ends sometime on April 11.

We don’t know what to expect from the countdown, but perhaps it could be some sort of teaser for a Bayonetta release on PC. We’ll keep you guys updated when the countdown ends.
