First, here’s the trailer for the update. It will take us back to Mondstadt. The Alchemical Ascension seasonal event will take place and involve running a potion shop.

As for the new 4.5 Genshin Impact characters, the only totally new one is Chiori. She ended up being teased back in January 2024. She will be a five-star Geo character who wields a sword. Brittany Lauda voices her in English, while Ayane Taketatsu plays her in Japanese. When she attacks, she’ll summon an automaton named Tamoto to assist her. There will also be a Cisoria Chapter: Act 1 story quest associated with her. The first half of the banners will feature Chiori and Itto. The second half will have Neuvillette and Kazuha. Also, the new Chronicles Wish Event Wish will feature designated five-star characters like Albedo, Diluc, Eula, Jean, Klee, and Mona.

Finally, here’s the full showcase. It goes over the various additions, as well as touches on the new Character Training Guide and upcoming Feline Fortress Furrdyssey and Rolling Crossfire minigames.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 4.5 release date is March 13, 2024.
