3 New Animal Crossing: New Horizons Seasonal Items Are on Sale

There are certain Animal Crossing: New Horizons seasonal items that are available on a monthly basis in-game. So far, we had seen one in May 2020. It was the 600-bell Thank-you Mom mug. Now, June 2020 has brought with it three more items. There’s another mug, this time for fathers, and two cosmetic costume items for characters to wear, all of which were announced on the official Japanese Twitter account the second the month began. Each item will be available until June 30, 2020.

The new cup is the Thank-you Dad mug. It costs 600 bells, just like the Mom mug. It is blue with a green and yellow-striped tie and yellow flower on it. It’s now available only through Nook Shopping to celebrate Father’s Day, which is June 21, 2020.

The two new clothing items that you can find in Nook Shopping are the Handmade Cape and Handmade Crown. The cape’s name is a bit misleading, as it is actually a blue and white-striped shirt with a red cape with different symbols on it. It costs 500 bells. The Handmade Crown is a 300-bell item that is red and has fake “gems” on it. In many countries, Children’s Day is celebrated on June 1, 2020.

As for other recent Animal Crossing: New Horizons events, you can now help Cyrus and Reese with a wedding anniversary photo shoot to earn special furniture and clothing items.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch. These Father’s Day and Children’s Day Animal Crossing: New Horizons seasonal items will be available until June 30, 2020.
