Sony has changed the July 2019 PlayStation Plus lineup. In a last minute substitution, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 will not be taking the field. Instead, the official PlayStation Blog has confirmed that Detroit: Become Human will be a part of the kickoff.
No explanation was offered for the alteration. Sony just updated the official PlayStation Blog entry, completely striking out any mention of PES 2019. In its place, descriptions for Quantic Dream’s Detroit: Become Human, an adventure game following three Androids living in Detroit, Michigan and fighting for their humanity, appeared in its place.
In Detroit: Become Human, people follow Connor, Kara, and Marcus. Each one has a different role to play in the conflict ahead. Connor works with the police, investigating cases where Androids go rogue. Kara is a household model who was designed to take care of a young child, but finds herself in a desperate way after saving the girl from a dangerous situation. Marcus was once a caretaker and surrogate son to a wealthy man, but circumstances have led to him joining the revolution.
Detroit: Become Human and Horizon Turbo Chase will be available for PlayStation 4 owners who subscribe to PlayStation Plus starting July 2, 2019, after the PlayStation Store updates. They will be available to download until August 5, 2019.
