In the game, you’ll see Cup Noodle brand trucks serving the quick meal as emergency rations at the emergency shelter. There will also be a Cup Noodle backpack and compass, as well as Cup Noodle T-shirts that make you look like you’re eating Cup Noodles, which are sold by Nissin in real life.

Meanwhile, the protagonist can listen to current news topics and other variety shows via the in-game Radiko.jp app, although it’s based on the in-game events and isn’t the actual Radiko.jp program. At first, the radio will focus on the disaster, but as the days go on you’ll hear some variety shows as well. There will also be a Radiko.jp compass for you to find in the game.

Apart from the above two brands, Granzella teamed up with map publisher Zenrin for 3D city model data, as well as the Kobe Fire Dept. for more realistic representation of disaster scenarios. The series has also had tie-ups with CalorieMate in the past.

Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories launches for PlayStation 4 in Japan on November 22, 2018. Check out an introduction to some of the characters you’ll meet in the story in our previous report here.
