Sega announced in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine that the upcoming PS4 remaster of Yakuza 4 will release in Japan on January 17, 2019, along with some changes for Masayoshi Tanimura.
Masayoshi Tanimura, one of the protagonists of the game will see some changes as Hiroki Narimiya has retired from the entertainment business. Since Tanimura’s voice and likeness was based on Hiroki Narimiya, the development team has changed the character model, and be voiced by Toshiki Masuda for the remaster.
The Yakuza 4 remaster releases in Japan on January 17, 2019 for PlayStation 4. The game was announced in May alongside remasters for Yakuza 3, which released in August, and Yakuza 5 which is expected to release in Japan in Spring 2019.
