Super Smash Bros. Ultimate went through another week of character introductions this week, showing off Chrom, Dark Samus, Dark Pit, and Villager, as well as a surprising choice of music debuting from Fire Emblem Heroes.
#25e Chrom
The protagonist of Fire Emblem Awakening joins the battle as Roy’s echo fighter. His Final Smash is Awakening Aether. Like Aether in the original game, this move has Chrom charge toward his opponent, slashing with his sword.
#04e Dark Samus
Dark Samus joins the battle as Samus’s echo fighter. With floatier movement, it’s a little different from Samus–and it doesn’t roll when dodging or jumping. If you look closely, you can see that its bombs and missiles look a little different, too.
#45 Villager
This fighter attacks using skills from daily life in the village, such as planting, growing, and cutting down trees. They can also use items like nets, slingshots, and turnips. The Villager can also put items or incoming projectiles in a pocket to use later.
#28e Dark Pit
Togedemaru – New Assist Pokémon
This Pokémon shoots sparks from its body. You’ll take severe damage if they hit you, so we recommend keeping your distance.
Gear Up For… – New arrangement
You can now listen to the track from the menu screen in Fire Emblem Heroes. For the first time, we’re announcing the name of this track: “Gear Up For…” Enjoy Hiroki Morishita’s arrangement!
Arrangement supervisor: Hiroki Morishita (known for work on Fire Emblem series. This is a self-arrangement.)
