Back in March 2017, Sega and Puma first teased a collaborative sneaker inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog. Now, the official release date, images and information on both the Puma x Sega RS-0 Sonic and RS-0 Dr. Eggman shoes has been released. Both of them will appear in stores worldwide on June 5, 2018 and each cost $130.
The RS-0 Sonic is the design unveiled in April 2018. It is made of blue, textured suede, red outsole stands, micro ventilation perforation uppers, debossed Sonic head and gold rings, gold, metal rings on the shoelace’s aglets and checkered print mid and insoles. The Sonic logo also appears on the sole.
The RS-0 Dr. Eggman is a red, pebbled patent leather shoe that also has micro ventilation perforations, gold rings on the shoelace agelets and the Sonic logo on the sole. It has black and yellow caution stripes on the upper and footbed. A debossed Dr. Eggman face and his fireballs are on the heel. There is also a metallic outsole that has some translucent blue rubber.
The Puma x Sega RS-0 Sonic and RS-0 Dr. Eggman shoes arrive June 5, 2018.
