Last week, Japan saw the release of Destiny 2 on PlayStation 4, the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, and the KonoSuba visual novel for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Japanese sales tracker Media Create shared the latest on software and hardware sales data from the week of September 4 through September 10, 2017.

#1 of the week goes to Destiny 2 with 50,263 units sold for the PlayStation 4. The previous Destiny sold 49,503 units on PS3 and 91,277 units on the PS4 for a combined total of 140,780 back in September 2014.

Splatoon 2 charted at #2 for a third week straight with 44,981 units sold on the Nintendo Switch and hitting a total of 1,101,481 units sold through retail.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch sold 24,045 units in its first week of sales. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 debuted on PS4 less than a year ago, last November, with 66,035 units sold.

Everybody’s Golf saw a strong start last week and it charted at #4 in its second week with 22,488 units sold on PS4.

Lastly KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! – Judgment to this Greedy Game! made its debut charting at #10 and #11 with 7,044 units sold for PS4 and a  7,000 for PS Vita.

On the hardware front, there was a big spike in PlayStation 4 Pro sales going from 4,965 the week prior to 10,999 this past week. This likely comes from the release of the Glacier White PS4 Pro model in Japan on September 6. The Nintendo Switch continues topping hardware sales with 45,439 units sold in the week, putting it at a total of 1,622,474 units sold in Japan since its launch in March.
