Square Enix is all about taking over train stations as we’ve seen recently with Final Fantasy XV as well as one for Dragon Quest Builders. The latest one is to celebrate Kingdom Hearts’ 15th anniversary.
In celebration of Kingdom Hearts’ 15th anniversary, Square Enix will have a “Memorial Stained Glass Clock” located at the Metro Promenade at the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line in Shinjuku.
Visitors will get to check out the above Memorial Stand Glass Clock, titled the “Sora’s Stained Glass,” as well as its twelve other stained glass work surrounding it from January 9 through January 15, 2017.
Here’s a closer look at the stained glass artwork that will be displayed in the station:
Additionally, Square Enix will give away all thirteen Stained Glass made into clocks when the campaign is done. You can try your luck by following and tweeting Kingdom Hearts’ official Japanese Twitter account with “#キングダムハーツ15周年” and an image of your favorite stained glass artwork. You can either take a picture at the station or choose one from the series’ 15th anniversary memorial site.
Square Enix will also have a visual exhibition for the event with video and artwork surrounding the area as part of the series’ 15th anniversary celebration.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue releases in Japan on January 12, 2017. The game releases in North America and Europe on January 24, 2017 on PlayStation 4.
