PlayStation Plus’ Price Is Going Up In North America

Sony has updated an old PlayStation Blog post to announce the price of a PlayStation Plus subscription will be rising in North America. Anyone in the United States and Canada who renews their subscription after September 22, 2016 will pay more for the three month and twelve month plans.

Currently, a 12-month subscription is $49.99, 3-month subscription is $17.99, and 1-month subscription is $9.99 in both regions. After September 22, 2016, PlayStation Plus will be $59.99/CDN$69.99 for one year. The cost for three months’ worth of the service will be $24.99/CDN$29.99. The 1-month subscription will remain $9.99 in the United States, but will be CDN$11.99 in Canada.

 

PlayStation Plus is Sony’s subscription service that provides free PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita games to users as long as they subscribe, as well as exclusive discounts and access to online services on the PlayStation 4.
