Capcom recently opened a teaser site for Project Palm with a video featuring voice actor Yuichiro Umehara. Not much is known about the new project, but it’ll be a smartphone app aimed towards girls.

The above video is shown on the teaser site, featuring voice actor Yuichiro Umehara, who voices the protagonist of the upcoming game. He says that while he can’t share much on this new project, from what he’s seen so far he sees numerous similarities between him and the protagonist, to the point where it’ll feel like you’re actually talking to him in the game.

He also explains the English word of “palm” which is in the name of the project, but no further information was shared other than that, so we can probably take it as some kind of hint for the time being.

The teaser site makes no mention of it being a smartphone game, but it’s been featured on Famitsus otome-focused “Famitsu App for Girls” section, which actually went ahead and revealed the title ahead of time as Toraware no Palm (The Captive/Taken Palm).

While the title has since then been edited out on the Famitsu page, Capcom will officially reveal the title on August 2, 2016.
