Half Minute Hero 2 is being localized for PC via Steam, Marvelous AQL have confirmed to Siliconera. The game will be titled Half Minute Hero: The Second Coming, and we’re told is slated for release “very soon”.
Half Minute Hero: The Second Coming will have full integration with Steamworks. Players will be able to use the in-game map maker and share maps with other players across the world. You’ll also be able to vote on maps created by other players.
Additionally, the game will have 4-player multiplayer with lobbies, as well as an improved Goddess Room mode that has been improved over the original PSP game. Finally, the game will retain all modes from the original PSP release, and Marvelous say there are a few other additions in the PC release, too.
Marvelous AQL producer Esteban Salazar confirmed to Siliconera that the game is only being released for PC, with no PSP or Vita version coming “any time in the foreseeable future”. At launch, Half Minute Hero: The Second Coming will have English and Japanese text, with more languages to follow if the game sells well enough.
Regarding price, Salazar stated that price details would be revealed soon, but noted that the planned price-point will be “very reasonable”.
