Nintendo have shared gameplay footage from Monolith Soft’s upcoming Wii U RPG, X. The gameplay footage shows off battle against large enemies, with the player battling both on land as well as in a mech. You can watch the footage below, starting from the 34:53 mark.

Director Tetsuya Takahashi says that the game’s battle system is based on the one in Xenoblade for Wii, but with “even more polish”.
