Beginning the countdown to its January 23rd launch, the latest trailer for Sengoku Basara 4 focuses on new character Yamanaka Shikanosuke. The doomed-in-real-life plucky young dude runs around with his “Oyassan”, the almost-human deer from whom he seems to be getting his powers and armor.
Don’t piss off the deer. He’s looking at you. And watching. Hey, it’s Sengoku Basara. We don’t question why these things happen. Or why he’s able to yo-yo foes like that. Or when he gets swung around by the deer to smash into foes.
That last bit of him pummeling what looks like a kigurumi doll of Xavi though, is just so awesome. The doll that is, though Yamanaka is pretty cool too. Watch out for those carnival bombs!
Sengoku Basara 4 will be coming out on PlayStation 3 January 23rd. It will also have a full game trial for PS Plus Members in Japan.
