Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation has a “persona system” that allows Aveline to don different guises, each one with its own abilities and limitations. As previously detailed, there are three of these in the game—Slave, Lady (aristocrat) and Assassin. This week, Ubisoft shared a few more details on each.
The Slave persona lets Aveline blend in with slaves and other workers. In this guise, she can pick up a crate to blend in with the crowd of workers as well as call on her fellow workers to cause public disturbances and distractions on her behalf. Going by past information, she’s also lightly armoured in this guise and can’t take much of a beating.
The Lady persona allows Aveline to socialize with the wealthy and the privileged. In the Lady guise, she can bribe certain individuals to open up new assassination opportunities, but has limited weaponry. She can carry a parasol gun that serves as a one-shot stealth weapon, and is unable to run or fight.
Finally, Aveline’s Assassin persona is the one you’ll spend the most time in. In the Assassin guise, she has access to all of her regular weapons and abilities, but sticks out like a sore thumb and draws more attention from guards and the like.
Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation will be released for the PlayStation Vita on October 30th.
