Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, known in Japan as Monster Hunter Tri G, will be released in March 2013 for both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in North America and Europe.

Capcom revealed this morning that the Nintendo 3DS version will be limited to local four-player multiplayer, but that the Wii U version will have online play.

Both versions of the game will also have local cross-platform multiplayer between 3DS and Wii U. Additionally, you will also be able to use cross-platform saves, and pick up where you left off on either console.
