Kojima’s Project Ogre To Be “Free” Rather Than “Cinematic”

"The kind of game I’m making is some game that has a very wide entrance, a very open entrance," Metal Gear Solid creator, Hideo Kojima, said to CNN in an interview last week. In this case, however, Kojima wasn’t talking about Metal Gear — he was referring to Project Ogre, which is his next original title.

"Rather than making something very cinematic, [I plan to] make something very free," Kojima shared. This is the first time we’ve heard Kojima say anything of the sort about Project Ogre, although he did tweet two screenshots of the game last week, showing off Kojima Productions’ Fox Engine, which is being used for development.

Project Ogre doesn’t have a release date attached to it yet. In fact, there’s very little that we actually know about the game.
