Does This Legend of Zelda Timeline Make Sense?

This week, Nintendo released Hyrule Historia, a Legend of Zelda encyclopedia in Japan, that covers art work and the history of Hyrule across all the games. It also reveals the series’ much-debated timeline.

A fan has gotten his hands on the book now that it’s out in the wild, and seems to have reported the timeline at this link. A Kotaku reader took the liberty of translating it, and this is what we end up with:
