By Way back at E3 2010, Sony Computer Entertainment America announced Sorcery. This PlayStation Move game starred a young sorcerer’s apprentice and turned the motion controller into a magic wand. When we first saw the game, Sorcery was colorful and felt like the company’s take on the popular Harry Potter series.

Sorcery came into the spotlight today with a spring 2012 release window and a completely different style. The apprentice left his cape at home and grew a few inches. The world looks less like Harry Potter too and more Lord of the Rings.
