Original Kid Icarus Will Be A 3D Classic For Nintendo 3DS, Too

The original Kid Icarus for the NES is being updated as a 3D Classic for the Nintendo eShop, too. Club Nintendo will be holding a special campaign this year for Japanese members.

If you’re in Japan and buy two 3DS games this fall, you could win a special 3DS themed after Mario, Peach or Toad.

Even if you don’t win, you’ll still get a consolation price — the aforementioned 3D Classics version of Kid Icarus for free. 3D Classics: Kid Icarus will be offered as a paid download in the future as well, of course.

Applications for the campaign will kick off on November 1st. In order to be eligible, you need to purchase two 3DS games in Japan between October 1st and January 15th.
