Keiji Inafune has been immortalized, not by Capcom, but by Compile Heart. The developer added the Mega Man creator to Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk-2 as a summon of sorts. You can call Inafune to deal out two attacks, Creator Sword where you use Inafune’s folded arms as a sword and Donnahanda Nova which has Inafune shoot a beam from his mouth. Both attacks use photos of Inafune in the game.
In addition to Inafune, Dengeki will be represented in Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk-2 with an anthropomorphic character. Dengkiko-chan is another newcomer to the PlayStation 3 game. IF, Compa, Gust-chan, NIS, and 5pb are confirmed to be in the game too. The magazine did not mention Red-chan, perhaps because Red Entertainment was acquired by UltiZen Games.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk-2 will be released on August 18. Pre-order the PS3 game and you’ll recieve an art book as a bonus. The limited edition includes a soundtrack CD and figures of Nepgear and Neptunia.
