Mystery Dungeon Shiren the Wanderer 5: Fortune Tower and the Dice of Fate follows Shiren as he climbs the tower with Tao as his guide to change destiny. The events in this Nintendo DS game take place between Shiren the Wanderer DS 2 and Shiren the Wanderer 3 (aka Shiren the Wanderer in North America).
The day and night system Chunsoft introduced in Shiren the Wanderer 4 returns. Shiren’s vision decreases when the sun sets creating a fog of war that can hide enemies.
Shiren has new puzzles to tackle when he wanders into dungeons. Screenshots show Shiren in a room with numbers on the floor and multiple staircases. Mystery Dungeon Shiren the Wanderer 5: Fortune Tower and the Dice of Fate is scheduled for a December release in Japan.
