In April 2010, Aurora mysteriously pulled their titles from online graphic novel distributor, NetComics, and weren’t heard from again until recently. On their new website, ex-Aurora staff revealed that they were founding their own publishing company, this time with an added focus on digital distribution — Manga Factory.

Anime News Network recently got in touch with Manga Factory to ask about their upcoming plans, and while representative, Mika Ogata, remained secretive as to the company’s strategy or licenses, she clarified that Manga Factory have acquired a selection of Aurora books from third-party distributors and retailers to “sell for a limited time.”

“We would like to discuss any possible paths to work together in the future, though,” Ogata added.
