By Ready at Dawn and Sony Santa Monica Studios developing are another quest for the Spartan warrior. God of War: Ghost of Sparta picks up after the events of the first God of War game and tells how Kratos rose to power as the God of War. In a journey to rid himself from tormenting nightmares, Kratos enters lost worlds armed with the Blades of Chaos. Sony says God of War: Ghost of Sparta will “finally answer long-awaited questions about his dark past.”
Kratos will crush plenty of mythological monsters and armies of undead soldiers on his newest quest. The development team promise a greater number of on screen enemies and boss encounters, presumably compared to God of War: Chains of Olympus. Ready At Dawn are also granting Kratos new magical powers, weapons, and navigational abilities.
God of War: Ghost of Sparta is scheduled for release this year and those are screenshots of the game below.
