First, the Honkai: Star Rail pre-install lets people pre-download on a Windows PC, Android, or Apple iOS device. If you’re on a mobile device, the storage requirements ahead of installing is 11GB. The PC one is listed at 9.6GB. If you are playing on a mobile device, you will see the Resource Pre-Download button is available after launching the game. On a PC, the launcher will now offer the Game Pre-Installation button. As usual, you can continue to play on PC while downloading, but the mobile versions don’t allow that.

As usual, the maintenance will start on March 27, 2024, and it will last around five hours. You get 300 Stellar Jades to make up for that. That currency will be available in folks’ inboxes to claim until 2.2 arrives.

Starting the new Penacony Honkai: Star Rail Trailblaze Mission in 2.1 will also be very straightforward. HoYoVerse noted that the requirement is to have finished the Trailblaze Missions introduced in 2.0. As long as you got through all of those and finished “Whodunit,” you can begin “The Devil in Velvet” the second 2.1 is live. The rewards will involve Stellar Jades, Trailblaze XP, character, Light Cone, and Relic experience items, Credits, and a new piece of music you can play on the Astral Express jukebox.

Honkai: Star Rail is available on the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and 2.1 arrives on March 27, 2024. Acheron and Luocha will be the first new banners after the update.
